On Wednesday January 17th the proposed ceasefire resolution in Toledo City Council was tabled rather than passed, meaning the vote was delayed in the interest of further conversation on the topic between the community and council members. While this is not the result we hoped for, we are far from out of the fight! We have continued to put pressure on council members with an outpouring of emails, calls and meetings urging them to vote yes. Now we have to show up again to their meeting on Wednesday and show them we are not going anywhere until we get a vote on this issue!

Please remember we are there to represent Palestinian Solidarity in the community. Please remain respectful and abide by City Council regulations. We are there to show council members that their constituents support this resolution and urge them on to vote yes, NOT to disrupt or stop the proceedings.
